Pickhill CE School

Pickhill Church of England School is located in the heart of the village of Pickhill in North Yorkshire just a mile east of the A1 between the market town of Thirsk and the City of Ripon. The original building dates from 1862, with modern extensions. The School is an integral part of village life and has always been held in high regard by the villagers. Children from Pickhill, Sinderby and the surrounding area attend the School.

A WELCOME FROM OUR HEAD TEACHER

On behalf of the children, staff and Governors, I would like to warmly welcome you to our school website.

The site is currently undergoing a two stage reconstruction, with a simplified menu to help you find the information you need as efficiently as possible. Phase One, covering the period up to early December will concentrate on displaying up to date information, and we apologise to those who like lots of pictures. These will brighten up Phase Two, which should be in place either side of the Christmas Holiday, with plenty of photos to show what's going on at Pickhill Church of England Primary School.

Introduction to the website

I hope that you will find this site and its content valuable and informative, enabling you and your child to keep up to date with what is happening at out school. In particular, it will be used for maintaining an up to date diary of coming events and school news. These will both be available as pdf links.

A website, however, can never replace an actual visit, so please ring us on 01845 567339 to make an appointment. I will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have or to take you around our school of which we are very proud.
